Es. Nimon et al., STUDY OF SOLID-ELECTROLYTE LAYERS IN I-2(P2VP)-LI POWER SOURCES BY THE GALVANOSTATIC PULSE TECHNIQUE, Russian journal of electrochemistry, 31(4), 1995, pp. 320-323
Transport properties of solid-electrolyte layers (SEL) formed in lithi
um-iodine batteries were studied by the galvanostatic pulse technique.
It was found that the rate of the anodic process at the lithium elect
rode is determined by the formation of an ionic space charge of lithiu
m cations injected into solid-electrolyte layers. The mobility and con
centration of mobile lithium cations in SELs at various depths of disc
harge of the power source were determined.
