Abstract
In experiments with yeast cells it was shown that the synergistic effe ct of a simultaneous action of ionizing radiation and hyperthermia was a function of dose rate. It was demonstrated that, with increasing do se rate to obtain maximum synergistic effect, the temperature at which radiation is delivered should be elevated. Possible explanation of th is effect is discussed.
