Abstract
Seven new diphyllin esters including nitrobenzoyl ester and two bromin e containing compounds have been isolated from Sauropus quadrangularis (Euphorbiaceae). Their structures determined have been on the basis o f their H-1 NMR, (13) C NMR and mass spectral data and by chemical cor relation with known compounds.
