Abstract
A 50-kDa nuclear protein rMBP specifically interacting with DNA of typ e M13 minisatellite was isolated in nuclear extracts from rat liver by means of Southwestern blotting. This protein was obtained in partiall y purified form by means of DNA affinity chromatography, and it was sh own that the content of the protein in:nuclear extracts of liver does not exceed 0.1%.
