Estimations of the angle between rotational and magnetic axes show the
m to be nearly coincided, that is PSR 1822-09 can be described by a mo
del of an almost aligned rotator. The Narayan-Vivekanad model with elo
ngated emission cone permits to describe the observed peculiarities of
this pulsar: presence of an interpulse, a complex behaviour of the ma
in pulse (MP) and interpulse (IF) profiles and their spectral differen
cies. The IP is formed at higher distances than-the MP at each of the
observational frequencies. A correlation of the MP and IP intencity fl
uctuations can be explained by a complex magnetic field structure at t
he neutron star surface; different character of microstructure of the
MP components and their spectral difference can be due to varying reli
ef in the polar cap region.
