Abstract
Non small cell lung cancer is one of the leading causes of death in th e industrial countries and some 70% of patients have non surgically er adicable disease. Platinum based combined regimens can achieve 35-40% objective responses, but advanced age, low performance status and conc urrent diseases can exclude up to 60% of patients from an adequate pol iychemotherapy treatment.
