Abstract
[Cu(hfac)(2)](3)(NITR)(2) (hfac = hexafluoroacetylacetonate, NITR = 2- R-4,4,5,5-tetramethylimidazoline-1-oxyl-3-oxide, R = 4-methoxyphenyl) has been prepared and its crystal structure determined. In the centros ymmetric complex, the central copper atom has an elongated octahedral geometry, the terminal ones square pyramidal. The magnetic measurement s of the complex show that the metal-radical coupling is antiferromagn etic.
