Abstract
New Pd-II complexes of biologically active ketimines containing the NO H donor set have been synthesized and characterized by elemental analy ses, molecular weight determinations and conductivity measurements. Th e i.r. and H-1-n.m.r. spectra indicate a square planar structure for t he complexes in which the ligand is monobasic bidentate with oxygen an d azomethine nitrogen coordinating sites. Representative ketimines and their respective metal complexes were found to exhibit antimicrobial properties.
