Based on empirical findings accor ding to a model channel like screen modeling was performed with refere nce to the hydraulic conditions near the slots. Thanks to simplified c alculations based on FEM the transportation of fibres is quantified ai ming at a prediction of fibre passage and fibre stapling. Furthermore, fibre stapling versus time is dealt with based on a further simplifie d model.
