Abstract
BSCCO (2223) phase superconductor, prepared by the traditional solid-s tate reaction route, was densified by hot pressing, yielding high-dens ity and textured-bulk materials. A correlation between processing para meters and inter-, intra-granular properties of the sample was perform ed through the evaluation of microstructural features and the study of electrical resistivity and magnetization behaviour as a function of d ifferent temperature and magnetic field.
