Abstract
Acute suppurative parotitis and parotid gland abscess are infrequently encountered among children, Fourteen children were diagnosed in the S heba Medical Center as suffering from these infections and their clini cal features are described, Discussion reveals neither significant dif ferences nor predominating factors to differentiate between these two entities.
