Abstract
17 beta estradiol, progesterone and testosterone levels in commercial cheeses have been evaluated. Quantities of these hormones, which are p resent in 80 g of product, are also reported. Testosterone has been fo und only in Lerdammer, Gruyere and Emmenthal cheeses.
