The theory of spatial localization for the J heteronuclear rotating fr
ame coherence transfer in the presence of the main magnetic field grad
ient is presented. The simplified case of an AX spin-1/2 pair in a liq
uid was considered. The two dimensional spatial profile for a cyclic J
heteronuclear rotating frame coherence transfer for H-1 and C-13 pair
was evaluated and the applications to localized heteronuclear spectro
scopy and imaging are discussed.
