Eba. Fonseca et al., EFFECTS OF PHOSPHORUS AND INOCULATION OF VAM FUNGUS, ON NUTRITION OF 2 CITRUS ROOTSTOCKS, Pesquisa agropecuaria brasileira, 29(12), 1994, pp. 1889-1896
This study was carried out to evaluate the effects of phosphorus and i
noculation with the VAM fungus, Glomus clarum, on nutrition of orange
rootstocks, planted in plastic containers until the grafting period. A
factorial design (4 x 2 x 2) with four phosphorus doses (O, 320, 640
and 1280 g of P2O5/m(3)), two orange rootstocks [Rangpur lime (Citrus
limonia L. Osbeck) and Cleopatra mandarin (Citrus reshni Hort. ex Tan.
)] with and without inoculation of Glomus clarum was used. Increased d
osages of phosphate resulted in higher amounts of P and Ca, lower amou
nts of Cu and Zn, higher amounts of B in dry matter of Rangpur lime an
d lower amounts of B in dry matter of Cleopatra mandarin. The inoculat
ion of VAM decreased the amounts of K in dry matter in both plants. Ra
ngpur lime when inoculated had lower amounts of S. Cleopatra mandarins
when inoculated had higher amounts of S. The amounts of micronutrient
s in dry matter wasn't influenced by the inoculation.
