CONSERVATIVE MANAGEMENT OF INTERSTITIAL PREGNANCY USING OPERATIVE LAPAROSCOPY

Interstitial pregnancy has been treated so far mainly by either resect ion of the cornu or hysterectomy. In this article, two patients with c ornual pregnancy were operated upon laparoscopically with an uneventfu l postoperative recovery. This laparoscopic treatment is simple, does not require extensive operative laparoscopic expertise, and is relativ ely short and less expensive than laparotomy. We suggest that laparosc opic conservative repair be used to replace cornual resection by lapar otomy or hysterectomy in cases of early diagnosed interstitial pregnan cy.
