Abstract
Molybdenum-bismuth catalysts reactivity in the oxidative dehydrodimeri zation of toluene into stilbene has been studied, The maximum yield of stilbene was obtained with the Mo-Bi catalyst (phase A) at pH 8, The Mo-Bi catalysts precipitated in an acidic medium (phase alpha and beta ) are active in the oxidative dealkylation of toluene into benzene.
