Abstract
The title compound, [Ti(NH2)(Me(5)C(5))(2)] (I), is a bent metallocene with the NH2 group oriented so as to maximize the pi interaction betw een the N and Ti atoms. The Ti-N bond length is short [1.944 (2) Angst rom], consistent with increased pi bonding.
