Abstract
The title complex, [Ni(N-3)(C3H9P)(4)]BF4. is a nearly perfect trigona l bipyramid with the azide group at an apical position. The metal-azid e bond angle, Ni1-N1-N2, of 138.6 (5)degrees is the largest observed f or a terminal azide ligand.
