The solvent effect on hyperfine interaction in three different types o
f iminoxy radicals obtained by oxidation of di-2-pyridilketoxime (1),
diethyl hydroxyimino(2-fluorophenyl)methanephosphonate (2) and isonitr
osoacetophenone (3) have been analyzed. Linear correlations of hyperfi
ne constants of N-14 (both iminoxyl and pyridyl nitrogens of the imino
xyl derived from 1), P-31 (isomer Z of the iminoxyl derived from 2) an
d F-19(both Z and E isomers of iminoxyls derived from 2) on E(T)(30) s
olvent polarity parameters have been found. Opposite directions of the
dependencies for different nuclei of the same radical have been estab
lished. Anisotropic spectra of the radical derived from 1 and iminoxy
radicals derived from alpha-furildioxime have been obtained by gamma-i
rradiation of solid oximes.
