Abstract
In order to prepare high purity single crystals of PbFe0.5Nb0.5O3 (PFN ), its crystallization area is determined by investigating suitable ve rtical sections of the ternary system lead oxide-iron oxide-niobium ox ide, using differential thermal analysis and X-ray diffraction.
