Mj. Potrzebowski et al., H-1 H-2-DIMETHYL SULFONE AS A CONVENIENT STANDARD FOR SETTING THE HARTMANN-HAHN MATCH IN H-1-H-2 CP/MAS NMR/, Journal of magnetic resonance. Series A, 114(1), 1995, pp. 70-72
A physical mixture of powders and a molten mixture of H-1- and H-2-dim
ethyl sulfones were used to set the Hartmann-Hahn match in H-1-H-2 CP/
MAS NMR, There is no increase of spectral intensity for a mixture of p
owdered H-1- and H-2-sulfones compared with the MAS spectrum of pure 2
H sulfone, but a considerable increase is found for the mixed melt and
for bis[tert-butyl(phenyl-d(5)) thiophosphoryl] disulfide. H-1-H-2 CP
/MAS offers increased signal intensity, shortens the accumulation time
, and, in addition, provides a direct measure of the homogeneity of so
lids on a molecular level. (C) 1995 Academic Press, Inc.
