Abstract
A physical mixture of powders and a molten mixture of H-1- and H-2-dim ethyl sulfones were used to set the Hartmann-Hahn match in H-1-H-2 CP/ MAS NMR, There is no increase of spectral intensity for a mixture of p owdered H-1- and H-2-sulfones compared with the MAS spectrum of pure 2 H sulfone, but a considerable increase is found for the mixed melt and for bis[tert-butyl(phenyl-d(5)) thiophosphoryl] disulfide. H-1-H-2 CP /MAS offers increased signal intensity, shortens the accumulation time , and, in addition, provides a direct measure of the homogeneity of so lids on a molecular level.
