Abstract
Magnetic susceptibilities of [Ru2(mu-O)(mu-CH3COO)2 (py)6] (PF6)2 and
mu-O)(mu-CH3COO)2(CH3COO)2(H2O)(CH3OH)(P(C6H5)3)2] . H2O were measured
from room temperature to near 2 K and their magnetizations at 10 K we
re measured to 5.5 T. The experimental results and their analysis are
reported. The results showed that they have a strong antiferromagnetic
exchange interaction through mu-O bridge, while, exchange interaction
s through mu-acetato bridges seem to show some effects due to the tors
ions of the bonding structure.
