Abstract
The modified vanadate catalysts formed in the V2O5/MgO system are stud ied. The effect of the Cr(III), Mo(VI) and Co(II) added modifiers on t he activity and selectivity is analysed. The results of the X-ray diff raction and infrared spectra measurements are related to the chemical and catalytic properties of the systems studied.
