Abstract
The shape of the nu1(HF) infrared absorption band is studied for OCO.. .HF complex in HF/CO2 mixtures with CO2 density varying from diluted g as to liquid. The obtained results show that the evolution of the nu1( HF) band shape is similar to that observed for the nu1(AH) band of typ ical hydrogen bonded complexes HCN...HF and CH3CN...HF. The nonspecifi c solvent influence on the nu1(HF) band in the spectra of B...HF compl exes, where B...HF is a weak hydrogen bonded or van der Waals complex, is discussed.
