A COMPARATIVE ESTIMATION OF THE ACCURACY OF THE BLACK-SEA HYDROPHYSICAL PARAMETERS RECONSTRUCTION WHEN ASSIMILATING INTO THE MODEL OF IN-SITU AND SATELLITE-OBSERVATIONS - NUMERICAL-MODEL EXPERIMENTS
Sg. Demyshev et al., A COMPARATIVE ESTIMATION OF THE ACCURACY OF THE BLACK-SEA HYDROPHYSICAL PARAMETERS RECONSTRUCTION WHEN ASSIMILATING INTO THE MODEL OF IN-SITU AND SATELLITE-OBSERVATIONS - NUMERICAL-MODEL EXPERIMENTS, Okeanologia, 36(5), 1996, pp. 671-680
The results of the assimilation of the model simulated ''observations'
' of the temperature, salinity and sea level into the full model of th
e Black Sea circulation are given The ''observations'' were extracted
from the control run at times and space points according to the CoMSBl
ack'93 survey and TOPEX/POSEIDON tracks. A study of the sea hydrophysi
cal parameters reconstruction is carried out when in situ ''observatio
ns'' are assimilated as compared to the satellite ones. The results of
the assimilation into the model of real in situ temperature and salin
ity data of the CoMSBlack'93 survey for the april, 1993 are given and
analyzed.
