Abstract
The Antoniou general immittance convertor (GIG) has been widely used i n the active simulation of inductances. However, when only resistors a nd capacitors are used in its structure, the simulated immittance func tion has all singularities on the real negative axis in the complex pl ane. A modified version of the Antoniou GIG, to obtain immittance func tions with both real and complex poles and zeros, is proposed.
