COVARIANCE-MATRIX AUGMENTATION TO PRODUCE ADAPTIVE ARRAY PATTERN TROUGHS

An adaptive technique is presented that produces array pattern troughs in response to discrete sources of interference. The technique is imp lemented by a simple modification of the measured covariance matrix, a nd results in forming similar troughs centred at all sources of interf erence.
