Abstract
This paper presents the idea of a rough fuzzy controller with applicat ion to the stabilization of a pendulum-car system. The structure of su ch a controller based on the concept of a fuzzy controller (fuzzy logi c controller) is suggested. The results of a simulation comparing the performance of both controllers are shown. From these results we infer that the performance of the proposed rough fuzzy controller is satisf actory.
