Abstract
Ca-43 NMR spectroscopy shows that the sol-gel transformation of the ca lcium-silicate complex preserves the neighbourhood of the calcium ion. This fact can be interpreted on the basis of a statistical redistribu ton of the intra and inter-particle ionic bonds Si-O-...Ca-+(+)...O--- Si.
