Abstract
We study mesoscopic fluctuations of the de Josephson effect in a super conductor-dirty normal conductor-superconductor junction using the Gre en function method. Our theoretical approach is valid if the pair pote ntial is considerably higher than the Thouless correlation energy. The effects of temperature and sample geometry are taken into account. Th e calculated result is in fairly good agreement with that of the recen t experiment by Takayanagi et al.
