We study the density of states of the normal layer in the S-N-S proxim
ity-contact systems in the clean limit, taking account of the finite r
eflection at the interface as well as a possible pairing interaction i
n the normal layer. The self-consistent pair potential and the density
of states are calculated. It is found that when the normal layer has
a repulsive pairing interaction, there occur additional states in the
low energy range.
