The N-15 resonances in reduced and oxidized Chromatium vinosum high-po
tential iron protein have been assigned by use of H-1-H-1 COSY spectra
and H-1-N-15 HMQC, HMQC-COSY, and HMQC-NOESY spectra. Unambiguous ass
ignment of 70 of 85 backbone N-15 resonances in the reduced protein an
d 62 of 85 resonances in the oxidized protein are made, as are 12 of 2
1 side-chain N-15 resonances.
