Abstract
Laparoscopic cholecystectomy is rapidly becoming the treatment of choi ce for symptomatic gall stone disease. However, recent reports of seri ous wound complications have begun to appear in the literature. We rep ort three such cases involving wound fistula, hernia and metastases in cluding how these may have been avoided.
