Abstract
A case is reported where the high flow characteristics of thermoplasti cized gutta-percha provided an efficient seal even without adequate sh aping of an iatrogenically damaged root canal system, Persistent perir adicular irritation was reduced significantly, or isolated within the root canal space, thus allowing periapical repair.
