Abstract
Influence of extra annealing of glass samples on optical properties of CuHal crystallites has been investigated. It has been found that cons iderable narrowing of exciton lines takes place as result of this low temperature heat treatment. Both annealing of crystallite defects and phase transition are responsible for this effect. Size dependence of e xciton linewidth has been obtained. It has been shown that the observe d dependence can be explained taking into account increase of surface/ volume ratio with decreasing of crystallite size.
