Abstract
Exact solution of the Calogero-Sutherland-Moser model is reviewed. The complete set of eigenfunctions is given by homogeneous Laurent polyno mials. Its subset consisting of polynomial solutions is the generalize d Schur functions, which is a special case of Macdonald's symmetric or thogonal polynomials.
