Hydrothermal crystallization of aluminophosphate molecule sieve (AlPO4
-12) was carried out from H3PO4-i-C3H7OAl-H2NCH2CH2NH2-HOCH2CH2OH syst
em, Using aluminum triisopropoxide and phosphorous acid (85 wt%) as th
e aluminum and phosphorous sources, The influences of some main factor
s (pH, the ratio of P2O5/Al2O3 and the aluminum and phosphorous source
s, etc.) on the resulting structure were studied. The product was char
acterized by means of X-ray powder diffraction, scanning electron micr
oscope, infrared spectroscopy, differential analysis and thermogravime
tric analysis. The results of investigating the crystallization of AlP
O4-12 from non-aqueous system were preliminarily summarized. We found
that the organic template, H2NCH2CH2NH2, had two different kinds of en
vironments: one interacted with the skelton by weak hydrogen-bond, the
others interacted with the skelton by strong hydrogen-bond.
