Abstract
Object oriented approach applied to building science :the SPARK, envir onment. Zonal models ave a promising method for inexpensive simulation of natural convection in dwelling zones, that is usually costly with respect with computer time. Their modular structure allows the use of an object-based environment, called SPARK, for automatic generation of the simulation code. In this paper we present zonal models, the SPARK environment, the implementation phase and the obtained results. Those results ave satisfactorily compared with the results from a computati onal fluid dynamics code.
