Abstract
Cattle and buffaloes are unsuitable subjects for general anaesthesia h ence regional nerve blocks along with sedation are equired for satisfa ctory surgical handling. Retrobulbar lock for lamellar keratoplasty wa s used by Angelo et al. (1970) and Kudva and Deshpande (1983) whereas Peterson block was employed by Peterson (1951) for the same.
