Abstract
Interest in fuzzy logic has grown considerably in recent years. Typica l applications include various expert systems, vision systems and robo tics. The article on pages 283-289 examines applications for fuzzy log ic in controlling the D-o stage of pulp bleaching and in optimizing re covery boiler operation.
