Abstract
Eleven sesquiterpene lactones were isolated from above ground organs o f Neurolaena lobata, obtained from Guatemala. Their structures were es tablished by NMR spectroscopic methods, including 2D-NMR, as well as C C-MS analysis. Differences in the sesquiterpene lactone pattern and co ntent in plants of different geographical origin is discussed.
