Abstract
A jump-wise transition between two different kinetic modes of phase fo rmation in the course of silane pyrolysis has been found experimentall y. In one mode the solid phase is formed as an aerosol, in the other a s a film; the phenomenon can be reproduced by mathematical analysis of a model mechanism.
