Abstract
An intersecting beam technique has been used to measure total cross se ctions for resonant charge transfer in He-3(2+)-He-4(+) collisions at barycentric energies between 4 and 200 keV. Our measurements, obtained using coincident detection of the reaction products, are in good agre ement with theoretical predictions. Furthermore, they confirm a scalin g law by Reinhold and Falcon for symmetric resonant charge transfer in one-electron systems at intermediate energies.
