Abstract
The compound K3Sb3P2O14 . 5H(2)O was first synthesized by hydrothermal crystallization, and characterized by XRD, P-31 MAS NMR, IR, DTA-TG a nd so on, The compound crystallizes in the rhombohedral system with a= 0.71377 nm, b=0.71377 nm, c=3.08047 nm, a=90 degrees, beta=90 degrees gamma=120 degrees, and has a layered structure. The potassium ions are situated between the covalent layers.
