Abstract
The purpose of incubators is to allow the premature new-born to comple te his development as like in his mother's uterus. As a risult the acu stic environment in the incubator shuld be particulary reassuring and stimulating for this young patient in order to incentivate his cogniti ve learning. Considering the effects of noises on the babies' neuro-ps ycological development, also considering that auditory system is perfe ctly working since the 25th week of pregnancy, the autors asserted the necessity of controlling the degrees and the quality of the noises in side the incubators available in commerce. The results of such control s reveal that incubators are inadeguate, so the autors suggest some te chnical solutions to gain a substantial reduction of the noises inside the incubators.
