Excess molar volumes V-m(E) of [x(BrCH2Cl or BrCH2CH2Cl) + (1-x){CH3(C
H2)(5)CH3 or c-(CH2)(6) or C6H6 or CCl4}] have been determined from de
nsity measurements at the temperature 298.15 K, using a vibrating-tube
densimeter. Excess molar volumes V-m(E) for these mixtures are positi
ve, but noticeably less positive when C6H6 or CCl4 is the second subst
ance.
