The effects of melt conditions on the crystallization and melting beha
vror of annealed poly(phenylene sulfide)(PPS) and its blends with poly
(ether ether ketone) (PEEK) have been investigated. The intensity of t
he high temperature endothermic peak(T-m2) of PPS decreased as adding
of PEEK, while the peak temperature does not change significantly. As
the melting temperature and time increase, the height of T-m2 decrease
s and the location of the peak shifts to the lower temperature.
