Abstract
This article provides an overview of the classification of soft-tissue sarcomas as influenced by modem histopathologic techniques. The overv iew is followed by a practical grading system for these tumors based o n a study of 282 eligible patients. The primary tumors of this trial w ere adequately treated. The quantitative data (mitotic count and size of the tumor) were based on the results of the statistical analysis.
