Abstract
This paper deals with the diagnosis of voltage collapse situations, fo llowing large disturbances and/or load increases. A method is proposed to identify the set of buses where load restoration is responsible fo r the colla pse a nd to determine the corresponding corrective actions . It has been implemented in a fast voltage stability simulator, using sensitivity techniques. Tap changer blocking and load shedding are il lustrated on a real-life 410-bus system.
