Abstract
This paper outlines a practical coordination approach of long- and sho rt-term optimization. Pseudo prices are used as coupling variables. To take uncertainty aspects into account, fuzzy set theory is incorporat ed to evaluate the pseudo prices. In the paper, various aspects of the proposed approach are discussed, and its application to a real utilit y system is illustrated.
